Music Partner Wanted Hi,
I have a master degree in applied linguistics, but I'm not doing much with it. I work for a financial service firm, where I offer investment planning, retirement planning services, and home loans (mortgages and equity line of credit.) Do you save money regularly? I'm certainly glad I have been. I was laid off from a dot com in January 2001. I used some of my emergency fund during the transition.
Interests As mentioned earlier, I like almost all kinds of music. I have KDFC (a classical station) set on my radio. Sometimes I switch to KKSF (a contemporary jazz station.) They occasionally play New Age (on Sunday mornings.) There's some interesting work in that small category. Folk and Broadway musicals could be fun at times too. I also like country-western dancing, square dancing, movies, riding on my kick scooter, gardening, outdoor .... and of course some other things I would like to do but haven't found a way to start. I had lots of friends when I was in Taiwan. I had to start over after I came here. I'm doing O.K.now, but I think I'm in need of a couple of good friends, friends that would give each other time and attention. We all used to be like that, right? Then we got carried away ... I think there are actually people reading this page sometimes, so I ought to give it a little update. (Yes, those paragraphs above were written quite a while back.) Now I'm actually doing something with music. I was given contact information of the manager at the San Francisco Symphony Chorus by a colleague at another accounting firm. After about a year, I finally contacted him, went to an audition, and was lucky enough to join the chorus. It has been a wonderful experience. in touch with my family in Taiwan and Singapore. That's why I uploaded
the pictures to the Webshots site. Since I was the one taking most
pictures, most pictures on that site do not have me in there. |

Music
is my number one interest, that's for sure. I like both listening
to music and playing music. I sing. I also play flute and piano at
intermediate level. But I haven't been making as much music, probably
since I graduated from my junior college. I was a music education
major then.
I
don't have a piano right now. I do have my flute with me and I have
a midi keyboard. I like almost all kinds of music. So if you know
some music, especially if you play acoustic guitar, piano, or harp,
please contact me and maybe we could be music buddies. Contact info

I'm
originally from Taiwan. I grew up in Taipei. The picture on
the right hand side was taken on a trip to Sun Moon Lake with my Junior
College Classmates. It' was more than ten years ago.......
